Meet Musa, Kachikally’s keeper

Musa Bajo has been working at the pool for 14 years and he keeps the hundred reptiles fed and safe. Part of his job is to keep the daily visitors safe as well.

He has a small team of volunteers helping with the daily chores at the pool but resources are limited.

Musa and his team use 250 kg of fish to feed the reptiles daily.

Due to an increase in population, they have to destroy crocodiles eggs in order to keep the population under control.
